Trevira is a German company manufacturing flame retardant polyester fabrics. These fabrics are mostly used in the upholstery industry, they do however, make a version for making into garments called Trevira CS.
This fabric has been tested to EN343 (Protection against foul weather), EN471 and EN533.
The fabric must be worn over flame retardant garments tested to EN531 in order to provide the correct level of protection.
Arcaware has no knowledge of these fabrics being tested to any standard for protection against electric arc.
